Boxcar BBQ – Republic
I was in Republic again last Friday and caught the smell of meat smoking while driving past the intersection of Hwy 174 and Hwy 60 on the east side of town. I’m almost always in the mood for BBQ so I decided to stop in and see what was smoking. -

My friend David has talked about E’s Inn for quite a while and Steve, Danny and I have attempted to get out to Republic at least twice to try it out. -
The Fat Quarter Tea Room
I had the opportunity to dine at The Fat Quarter Tea Room recently with my wife and our friend Joy. The Fat Quarter Tea Room (or TFQTR for short) is co-located with a quilting shop on Ingram Mill road just north of Sunshine. -
Nonna’s Italian American Café
I had lunch this week with Steve downtown at Nonna’s. I’ve never been to Nonna’s and was looking forward to trying their take on Italian. -
Danna’s Bar-B-Que and Burger
Steve has been talking up Danna’s BBQ for quite some time and we have been looking for an opportunity to head to Branson West to try it out. Well, that time was last Saturday evening for dinner for both of our families.
